Here i am after almost 2 weeks...and yes...my cable modem is back in action..so goodbye dial-ups and tapping of wireless network from my neighbours....all thanks to Bro Rooz who agreed to help foot the bills first...by the way i think he might be the only man in the family who is free from money prob...he gets a Grant from the sports council as he is a national athlete and also an undergrad at Nanyang Technological University...i am guessing that must be the reason why....
Anyhowww....hehe.. i have yet to tell u about the Waterfest by the Bay which was held over the weekend of 15th and 16th October...It was okay for me at the start...actually shiok ehhe..let me repeat shiok on the second day..cause it rained the whole day and it helps as i dun feel lethargic b y just sitting around under the tentage set up for rowing unlike the first day where the heat was unbelievable....we actually set up two booths..one is the Machine Rowing and the other is for the display of our rowing boats... alot of activities are available and next to our booth is the FMX area where they invited stunt bike trios to perform bike stunts on their Scramblers...in the evenings...they had a Rock concert staged..i repeat Rock concert...fuh..they invited 3 bands..there was Electrico, What The Funk, Kruger all local favourites...to me Kruger was the best!! they could play any song...u name it they play...they event asked the people standing in front of the stage what songs they want to listen to...other than that..i guess evrything is just normal..nothing special...
Singapore Rowing Association had an 'OPEN HOUSE' which practically no one came..ok i must be lying if i say no one came..at least one or two..but overall it was BORING!!! hehe...all set up for no reason...played football after that..became the Goalkeeper and i guess that was the worst performance ever for the team...must be because i was fasting and the other team was too good..however the match ended in a draw...the score was 4-4...it should have been 4-3 if not for the ref not being punctual...we waited for almost an hour b4 the game kicked-off..the opponent scored the goal after it got really dark and the ref still carried on with the game...stupid ref...2 times oready bukak tiga kali kena bedal lah....hehe...
ok got to go..nothing else to talk about...so..for now...taking care ok!! bye!!
