SINGAPORE!! CHAMPIONS OF TIGER CUP 2004!! I reckon that these words will be a common sight on local press tomorrow!! Yeah!Its true Singapore has won the Tiger Cup this year and became the first ever team to clinch the title at HOME!! digest this...the FIRST team ever to do that!! well' i guess its time to pay a tribute to our heroes..the SINGAPORE LIONS!! no no..not the ones in the ZOO...its the Singapore Soccer Team!! They had put their heart and soul this season and got what they deserved...
I was at the Stadium among 55,000 other roaring fans..cheering the Team to victory...yeah..it was a memorable occasion to see my home country emerging as Victors in a very tough, i should say, regional competition..singapore had kept the status as the only other nation other than Thailand to have brought back the Cup since its launch in 1996..it has been 5 seasons of Tiger Cup and it had been standing like this..which i think is cool man!! and also a good sign for Singapore:
see what did i say..Singapore really did it...well done Lions...keep it up and strive for World Cup 2010 which Singapore had been looking forward to.....and remember..that all other Singaporeans will be right behind ur backs...once again!! I, like any other Singaporeans, am PROUD of YOU!!
